I just barely got to read your entry before you filtered it - I didn't even get to the comments. I don't hate the 'Quill either, they have great fanfiction, and the greater portion of my flist is thanks to the site...but I agree with 95% of what you said. I'm just surprised to hear that the sub-stuff is still going on...I thought maybe it had died out after all this. I suppose that was one of the reasons I sort of drifted away...sort of felt out of the loop when it came to inside jokes. It felt like 2 groups - those who knew, and those who didn't. Sometimes it demanded so much time to be "in the know" - such as doing all that research to find the meaning of 87. I just didn't want to 1). jump on the bandwagon 2). exclude people in order to feel like I belonged and 3). spend all that time which I just didn't have. Anyway...this is just what I feel. Sorry for any unintentional offense.
